Hello everyone,

The past several weeks have been very busy behind-the-scenes and we’re excited to be on the home stretch of our upcoming re-launch. We’d like to invite all current members to submit articles for our July launch.

If you’d like to share your two cents with the industry, feel free to drop us a line and we’d love to hear from you. Topics can include Web, Mobile or IT/Networking along with any related software or hardware platforms and services. Use this as your "soapbox" moment. Share a truth or observation you feel hasn't been already shared.

Members will receive full credit for their respective articles and they’ll hopefully spark some interesting conversation.

To submit an article for consideration, please e-mail info@internetprofessionals.org with the subject line “Article Submission”. The submission deadline for July is June 26th, but send one along at any point for consideration in future issues.

We look forward to hearing from you and stay tuned for a re-launch e-mail in the coming weeks!

Over the past 15+ years, we've witnessed an explosion that's fundamentally transformed the way we not only communicate but behave.

The proliferation of readily-accessible information paved the way for a massive, captive audience ready to consume it. Creative design and technology rapidly pushed the envelope of new ways to share and present this information. The Internet audience grew exponentially as we perfected new, improved ways to communicate through the new e-industry.

We are the builders.

But just as quickly as we grew an industry, we splintered into vast tangents of specialization. "Webmasters" died and gave way to Flash designers, database gurus, systems/hardware engineers, SEO experts, architects and programmers of all kinds. The Web, itself, grew arms and legs into other platforms such as media centers, gaming consoles and mobile. The "builders of the information age" lost touch with one another through their own silos.

We've built incredibly empowering ways for groups and individuals to share content, tools and build community - we’ve given them a voice.

Now it’s time to give ourselves a voice.

Thanks to those who've not only registered but shared the word with trusted friends and colleagues. We look forward to the road ahead.

This has been an incredibly exciting time for us at the International Association of Internet Professionals. Whether your specialty is technology, mobile, marketing, software, hardware or just about anything that touches the digital/interactive realm, we will have something here for you. Our goal of providing our members with unparalleled opportunities to network, teach and learn from the world's top individuals and companies has come a long way since our soft launch a few months ago. Our friends at Google, IBM, Harley-Davidson and Walmart (amongst many others) have been incredibly helpful in collaborating as well as growing our membership base.

We would also like to thank the Martin Agency for all of the outstanding services they have provided to us. It’s no wonder they are considered one of the world’s top agencies.

We are on schedule to officially launch in July 2009 but have many things to accomplish in a short amount of time. We continue to identify and partner with content providers, venues and industry leaders to ensure our explosive growth continues.

Our relentless pursuit of becoming the premiere association for Internet professionals will only come to fruition with your help. Please continue to spread the word to help us grow and don’t hesitate to provide us with your feedback so we can make sure we are meeting your needs as we evolve in the digital space.

Hello to our newly registered and pre-registered friends around the world! As you can imagine, we've had a lot going on to prepare for our launch. Most of it has been behind the scenes including the partner selection, content evaluation and multiple presentations in a number of countries.

We are very proud to announce that the Martin Agency has been selected as our global marketing and advertising partner. You have probably seen their award-winning work for clients such as Walmart, Geico and UPS to name a few. Obviously, their client roster speaks for itself – and though we continue to have multiple partners in this space, the Martin Agency will be taking the lead on all of our initiatives.

This means that we will be officially launching in a few months and want to continue to grow our registered user database. Don’t hesitate to spread the good word that the International Association of Internet Professionals is coming! We look forward to a digital future.

Hello to all of our friends around the globe!

While we are providing free membership to all registered users through our pre-launch, I'd like to let everyone know that we have not yet selected our Global Advisory Board representatives nor our corporate partners and sponsors.

Now is a great time to get your companies, colleagues and friends alike involved in this top-tier global community. Being a part of a global agency system (Interpublic Group) has helped us kick-start our communities through our international offices and our clients.

We look forward to working together to develop useful, cumulative knowledge to all of our members all over the world.
